Using the diving computer does not exempt us from performing the safety stop. It's the same as with using a diving table. Most diving computers implement this recommendation so that every time you ascend from a depth of 10 meters, the computer will display a recommendation to perform a 3-minute safety stop at a depth between 3 and 6 meters.
Upon reaching 6 meters, the caption STOP will appear along with a 3-minute countdown.

Some dive computers will "ignore" it if the diver skips safety stop, while others will trigger an alert beep.

If your diving computer does not warn you to perform a safety stop, this does not mean that you are exempt from it. Safety stop is indeed a recommendation, but a binding recommendation! Except in exceptional cases where you cannot perform the safety stop due to emergency, you must make sure to do it as required.
